EnergInno Brazil adresses the green energy community with a focus on small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and start-ups in this field of research and industry. The campaign includes a program for German participants as well as for Brazilian participants.

Project steps of EnergInno Brazil

Call for Ideas & Innovation

Researchers and representatives of SMEs and/or startups in Germany from the fields of Green Hydrogen or Biogas were invited to apply to EnergInno Brazil by December 5, 2021. The winners of EnergInno's Call for Ideas & Innovation will be awarded a ticket for a one-week trip to Sao Paulo. While there, we will connect them to potential Brazilian project partners from research and industry in the field of sustainable energy. We look forward to meeting you and your ideas!

Matchmaking Tour

The Matchmaking Tour Brazil will take place in May 2022. This five-day tour will include a workshop to prepare for the Brazilian market and a two-day networking event, the Research2Industry Days. This will be followed by visits to companies, universities and research institutions in Sao Paulo, Brazil, giving the German Research-SME-Tandems exclusive insights into the Brazilian sustainable energy landscape and provide them with the opportunity to network with potential partners.

German R&D Tour

Interested stakeholders and selected partners from Brazil can participate in the German R&D Tour which will lead them to exclusive institutions, clusters and universities of the green energy sector in Germany. These partners of the German Research-SME-Tandems have previously applied to a national call in Brazil. They will meet the German tandems during the Matchmaking Tour Brazil in early summer 2022 to get to know each other as potential project partners.

Idea2Project Workshop

The Idea2Project Workshop of EnergInno Brazil offers German research SME tandems the exclusive opportunity to get in touch directly with representatives and stakeholders from public funding programs of various institutions, organizations, federal ministries and/or the EU. This will enable them to identify suitable funding opportunities for the further development of their innovations.
