About the project

Profile of a boy with H-Ear-Signs device in his ear

The project H-EAR SIGNS is addressing structured, sensor-based data collection on the long-term course of diseases and predictive modeling of the disease process to identify risk factors and the optimal adaptation of treatment schemes. This is based on continuously recorded vital signs (cardio-respiratory, body temperature) and body movement parameters in conjunction with automated pattern recognition algorithms. The focus is also on the secure and standardized transmission of sensor data from the patient's ear to the physician. Digital health applications that support international standards such as HL7 FHIR (Health Level 7 Fast Healthcare Interoperability Ressourceund) and IHE (Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise) play a major role in this context.
