Future of Work campaign goes into extra time

In 2020, COVID-19 safety measures prompted our ten expert networks to do without meeting their international research partners in person. It was an emotional setback for our campaign which is all about personal exchange, networking and meeting at leading conferences and workshops worldwide to build the future of work together.

However, despite this setback, the COVID-19 emergency led to substantial innovations in digital research collaboration, communication and knowledge transfer.  Without further ado, the campaign´s future of work experts had overcome travel and contact restrictions, had digitally transformed a lot of their activities and successfully moved hackathons, conferences and personal talks to the digital realm.

In order to further support the virtual international networking and collaboration of leading researchers and practitioners around future working environments, the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) has extended the campaign for another six months.

This is excellent news, and we gladly invite you to virtually join us while we continue exploring fascinating topics including digital business models, robotics in elderly care, digital twins and virtual lab worlds, Big Data analysis, AI cognitive architecture, and many more.
