Episode 4: "Meet Your Future You" - Global Health

Global health research is among the most important existing research areas, addressing urgent challenges that impact societies worldwide. In the fourth episode of our series, we will explore this crucial field with Professor Liu from the University of Stuttgart.
Professor Liu and her research team have made significant advancements in biomedical research by using DNA origami to influence the structure and function of biological membranes. They have developed a synthetic-biological toolbox that enables the targeted transport of large therapeutic molecules into individual cells - opening new possibilities for precise medical interventions.
In this session, Professor Liu will share insights from her research, discuss how global health is represented in Germany, and reflect on her experiences working in the country’s research landscape.
Join us to learn more about career paths in this vital field and the opportunities Germany offers for international researchers.
