Living in Germany
The village of Feldheim has been producing all its own green energy for more than ten years and is the first and only fully energy self-sufficient village in Germany. Solar, wind and biogas have replaced fossil fuels for electricity and heating. And what is also unique in Germany: The people of Feldheim banded together to operate their own electricity and heating grid. How did they do it?
