Application requirements and procedures tend to vary from programme to programme. The most important formal requirement is the status of a PhD student or junior researchers with a university degree equivalent to a German Master’s degree or doctorate in a relevant subject.
When you find a research training group that interests you, get in touch with the assigned contact person to receive more information. To find out in detail about the specific requirements for the university of your choice contact the International Office ('Akademisches Auslandsamt').
