Online Talk Series: Bioeconomy
- 07 Dec 2020 - 07 Dec 2020
- German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD)
The global population is growing, our standard of living is increasing and we are faced with environmental challenges such as anthropogenic climate change, ocean litter, a declining availability of arable land and dwindling fossil resources. This requires us to transform today’s oil based economy towards the sustainable use of renewable resources, that is to say, towards the bioeconomy!
An important task for today’s researchers worldwide is to find innovative technology which allows this transformation.
Join our online talk on Bioeconomy, the topic of the Science Year 2020/21 in Germany and learn how you can participate.
Our experts will give you an insight into the topic and answer your questions on how to start or continue your research in this field in Germany!
The event is open to anyone interested in doing research in Germany. It is free of charge and will be conducted in English.
We look forward to meet you online!
