From 9 to 13 September, the city of Berlin will host the 5th Young Earth Scientists Network (YES) Congress 2019, with the theme "Rocking Earth’s Future".
The congress, organized by the YES Network Germany together with the Helmholtz Centre Potsdam - GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences and the Geo.X Network, is specifically targeted at an audience of young Earth scientists.
Around 1.300 international participants are expected to attend. "Research in Germany" will provide information for early career international researches in the field of geosciences at an information booth and during a two-day Science Lunch event. Furthermore, international researchers are invited to present their research projects to German research institutions with an Elevator Pitch.
