Global Forum for Food and Agriculture (GFFA)

The GFFA is an important event that brings together experts, politicians, and interest groups to develop solutions for future food security. It will be held in Berlin from January 14–17, 2026, as part of the International Green Week.

Key focus topics include:

Using water sustainably in agriculture and food production.
Strengthening the 'blue bioeconomy' (aquatic foods, aquaculture and water-based resources) as part of future food systems.
Resolving competing uses of water (e.g. agriculture, industry and ecosystems) through constructive solutions.
Enhancing international governance of water resources to support global food security and sustainability.
