Information event on the European Doctoral Day
The online event is aimed at international researchers interested in pursuing a PhD in Germany – and particularly in Jena. Known for its strong academic tradition and spirit of innovation, Jena brings together a vibrant research environment, a dynamic university, and a thriving high-tech sector.
The event provides a concise overview of PhD pathways in Germany and introduces the wide range of doctoral opportunities at Friedrich Schiller University Jena. In addition, key funding options – from research positions to scholarship programmes – will be presented.
The programme is complemented by practical guidance on the application process and on planning a doctoral project. The aim is to offer international early-career researchers clear orientation and to support them in successfully shaping their academic journey in Jena.
