You are interested in doing a doctorate in the field of high-performance computing (HPC) and have a master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, the natural or engineering sciences or an equivalent degree? Then the scholarship from the NHR Graduate School offers you excellent scientific training. Part of the programme are courses in three main fields: operation and computer architecture, software and HPC methods, and application of HPC methods in research fields such as physics, engineering, humanities, life sciences, geo sciences and other.
In addition to the scientific training soft skill seminars are also offered. As a scholar you will have a supervisor who will closely accompany your scientific training and provide advice as well as a separate mentor who will help you build up a professional network and plan your scientific career.
