Who can apply?

Requirements for applicants include the following:

  • work as undergraduate, PhD candidate or postdoc in mathematics or computer science
  • submission of the following documents: curriculum vitae, statement of purpose, evidence of awards and other academic achievements (if applicable), letter of recommendation; postdocs must additionally submit a short summary of the thesis topic and a list of publications

What form does the HLF take?

The one-week event combines conference elements with a varied supporting programme. There will be lectures given by the laureates and workshops. A lively exchange between young and established scientists is also ensured: during the week-long HLF, the young researchers have a unique opportunity to engage in an intensive exchange with their role models in their respective disciplines and to learn how they became top-level researchers.

When is the closing date for applications?

The closing date for applications is 14 February 2017.
