The idea behind this joint fellowship programme of the German Aerospace Centre (DLR) and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) is to bring more young international researchers to Germany. The “DLR-DAAD Research Fellowships” are aimed at outstanding international
- doctoral students
- postdoctoral students
- and senior scientists
engaged in the research fields of the DLR: aeronautics, space, transportation and energy. Fellows are invited to undertake short or long-term research visits to DLR institutes in Germany.
Who can apply?
Requirements for applicants include the following:
- doctoral students require a university degree
- postdoctoral students require a doctorate/PhD or must be a PhD candidate (applicants from Russia)
- senior scientists must be working in higher education or at a research institute and should have outstanding qualifications and a doctorate/PhD
- all applicants must have an excellent knowledge of English and must not be of German nationality.
