Regional & Thematic Campaigns

With its High-Tech Strategy (HTS), the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) is determined to provide as much support as possible to science and research. One of the goals of the High-Tech Strategy is to establish long-term cooperation with countries that have a dynamic research environment and have become attractive partners for Germany in the fields of science and technology. Another goal is to promote the selected research areas of the High-Tech Strategy internationally and enhance the visibility of Germany as an outstanding research location.

Within the context of the initiative "Promote Innovation and Research in Germany" selected fields of the High-Tech Strategy have been selected for thematic campaigns. Several regional campaigns aim to establish long-term cooperation with countries that have a dynamic research environment.
