GCRI, New York City, USA

Both the US and Germany dispose of relevant resources in research and technology in the field of smart cities. This is why during our scientific networking event at the German Center for Research and Innovation (GCRI) in New York six of our urban research networks were presenting their ideas to forge international bonds with strong partners in the US committed to developing innovative solutions for resource-efficient and climate-adapted cities of the future.

They invited international researchers, urban planners, architects, decision makers, municipal authorities and representatives from the private sector to share and reflect on their ideas and innovative urban technologies. The aim was to build collaborations and develop joint projects in the future.
