From July 15 to 19, Leiden will host the 11th International Convention of Asia Scholars. Around 2.500 participants from over 75 countries are expected to attend the largest conference in the field worldwide. “Research in Germany” will provides information for international researchers of all career stages at an information booth and during a Science Lunch.
At the heart of Europe, Germany is one of the best destinations for cutting-edge research in the humanities and social sciences. It also has lots to offer in the field of area studies and Asia research. Talk individually to renowned researchers in Germany as well as to alumni and representatives from the above German organizations. Discuss your specific questions about German Asia research and funding opportunities with them. Take the opportunity to network and mingle while enjoying complimentary refreshments. A detailed programme will follow soon.
Attendance is open to all registered visitors and participants of the International Convention of Asia Scholars 2019 and is especially recommended to PhD candidates, postdocs and junior scientists. Seating is limited and available space will be filled on the basis of first-come, first-served.
