Research towards Trustworthiness and Self-Determination in a Networked Society

Prospective participants: Former guest researchers who spent a research stay at one of the consortium partners of the Weizenbaum Institute for the Networked Society (Technische Universität Berlin, Freie Universität Berlin, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Universität der Künste Berlin, Universität Potsdam, Fraunhofer Institute for Open Communication Systems (FOKUS) and Berlin Social Science Center (WZB)) and who currently reside in the USA or Canada are eligible to apply.

Not only are we planning to discuss the highly interesting topic of “Trustworthiness and Self-Determination in a Networked Society” with renowned speakers and Research Alumni from various disciplines but also give visibility to the Weizenbaum Institute, its fellowships and guest lectureships as well as other opportunities to do research in Germany.

No conference fee will be charged. Selected candidates will receive a one-night stay (24 to 25 September 2018) at a specific partner hotel in close proximity to the conference venue.
