Interdisciplinary competence development in the research field human-machine interaction for demographic change

Human-machine interaction technologies for the ageing population go far beyond individual solutions and have become highly sophisticated and complex technological systems.
In the development and usage of such technological solutions, it is important to consider the ethical, legal and social aspects right from the start – in particular, if technologies carry out innovative assistance functions for humans.
The funding competition “Interdisciplinary competence development” aims at building up research infrastructures, which address the above outlined research field.
Young scientists will get the opportunity to establish their own interdisciplinary research group, enhance their scientific skills, consolidate their reputation, and improve their international networks. The envisaged funding period is five years.
