HEALTH DATA TO X - Call for innovations in Digital Diagnostics and Smart Sensors

Call_InnoHealth_USA

The COVID 19 pandemic has dramatically increased the request for technologies and applications in remote supply. At the same time, an aging population and the challenges and opportunities associated with it are also contributing to the rising demand for innovations in digital health. Thus, InnoHealth USA is focusing on the fields of Digital Diagnostics and Smart Sensors including applications such as Wearables, E-Textiles and Bioelectrodes or Image Recognition, Molecular Markers and Pathology – and more! In general, the campaign is interested in all projects that can serve as clinical decision support or are intended for clinical use. Innovations in the field of "Aging with technology" are very welcome as well.

Who can apply?

The call addresses the German health community. In particular, InnoHealth USA is looking for tandems – each consisting of one representative from a German research institution or universitiy and one representative from the German Mittelstand (SME) or a start-up – who jointly develop application-oriented technologies and/or processes in the fields of Digital Diagnostics and Smart Sensors.

What is offered to the winners of the call?

The winners of the call - up to 10 Research-SME-Tandems selected by an expert jury – will join the campaign InnoHealth USA. During the one-week Matchmaking Tour in the USA and at other events, the tandems are given the opportunity to present their projects to the most innovative research institutions, companies and medical clusters, and to exchange ideas with suitable partners. The winners will also participate in the Idea2Project Workshop to get tailored information from representatives from public funding programs.

When is the closing date for applications?

Applications can be submitted until 15 November 2020.
