Current and prospective graduate students in Canada are cordially invited to this first-of-its-kind opportunities fair featuring representatives from some of Germany’s leading science and technology universities. This fair is a unique chance to find out why Germany is one of the world’s leading destinations in the science and technology sectors, and how you can be a part of it!

Share your research interests with the German scholars on hand and they will help identify potential study and research opportunities for you. It’s also a great opportunity for you to ask questions and learn more about pursuing graduate studies or research in Germany. Students in the natural and physical sciences are particularly encouraged to attend.

The Graduate Opportunities Fair will be made up of three distinct parts:

  1. Walk In Fair – noon to 2:00 pm: The Walk In Fair is open to all and gives attendees the chance to visit information booths for each of the participating German universities and inform themselves about the study and research opportunities available at these institutions.
  2. Presentation on Funding Graduate Studies in Germany – 2:00 to 2:30 pm: “Research in Germany” will give a presentation on how to fund your graduate studies in Germany. This presentation will introduce the major players in the German research landscape and give details on the many funding programs available to students pursuing PhD (and Masters) studies in Germany. This presentation is open to all.
  3. One-On-One Meetings with German Universities: These meetings will give individuals with a specific interest in pursuing PhD studies in Germany the chance to sit down with representatives of German universities to explore the options open to them at that institution. Please note: these meetings are by invitation only and require interested individuals to complete the online registration form found below. Registration.
